Rugby 7's in S.D.

There was a Rugby tournament in San Diego a couple of weekends ago at PETCO. Park that I was lucky enough to get into. Here are a few pictures from the 2-day event.

Portraits of Friends

I'm currently in a lighting class and we have been taking a lot of portraits towards the end of the session. Here are a few that I have taken the last week or so. I need to thank Ryan and Rachelle for being great subjects.

James Kaleb Healy

These pictures where taking at a memorial service for Army Sgt. James Kaleb Healy’s at the Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif. The service was held Thursday afternoon, Jan. 24, 2008. Healy was born in San Bernardino, Calif., on Aug. 29, 1982 and passed away on Jan. 7, 2008 in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Healy was a great person who loved his country and his family. Hi. Welcome to Shawn McGinley's new blog.

I'm currently enrolled at Brooks Institute in Ventura, CA, where I study visual journalism. I'm really having fun with it. I'm still new to the program, I started in july of 2007. I thought a blog would be a good way to get some of my work out for all you people in cyber space. Anyway.... I hope you enjoy.
