The Black Keys Live!!

One of my favorite new bands, The Black Keys, played a free concert downtown a little while ago. They are rock-blues duo from Akron, Ohio. I would highly recommend their newest CD, Attack and Release. Heres a few shots from the show.

I found a seaweed monster!!

This particular seaweed monster was seen creeping up on a few easy targets at the dog beach in Ocean Beach, SD. Luckily no one was hurt.

To Be Continued.

So… I moved downtown a few weeks ago but haven’t had much time to go out and take pictures. I finally went out this afternoon after work for a little while. I’m sure there will be plenty more pictures for this area posted soon.

Few more portraits

A self portrait. Every once in a while I'm able to look somewhat classy for about 1/250 of a second.
My roommate Jeff Ball. Yeah George, thats your hat.

Portraits of Friends

I'm currently in a lighting class and we have been taking a lot of portraits towards the end of the session. Here are a few that I have taken the last week or so. I need to thank Ryan and Rachelle for being great subjects.

James Kaleb Healy

These pictures where taking at a memorial service for Army Sgt. James Kaleb Healy’s at the Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif. The service was held Thursday afternoon, Jan. 24, 2008. Healy was born in San Bernardino, Calif., on Aug. 29, 1982 and passed away on Jan. 7, 2008 in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Healy was a great person who loved his country and his family. He is truely missed by many people. (Photos/video by Shawn McGinley/Brooks Institiute, ©2008)
